CyberShredder

Synopsis: CyberShredder erases confidential files from your computer permanently. Normal file deletion will remove a file's directory entry and allocation table information. The actual disk clusters that contained the file's data remains intact on your hard disk and can be recovered later. CyberShredder overwrites the space occupied from a file with random data and erases the file, so an unerase utility will never be able to recover it. It has three different methods of deleting files including the NSA approved seven-pass file deletion method.

Synopsis: TrueCrypt creates virtual encrypted disks within a file and mount it as a real disk. It can also encrypt an entire hard disk partition or a device, such as USB memory stick, floppy disk, etc. It supports a full range of encryption algorithms, including AES-256, Blowfish (448-bit key), CAST5, Serpent (256-bit key), Triple DES, and Twofish (256-bit key). Note that 64-bit-block encryption algorithms (Blowfish, CAST-128, and Triple DES) is deprecated from V4.3 onwards.

With the requirements for a portable version, 64-bit compatibility and Windows Vista increasing against the limitations of the old architecture. We decided to rebuild the entire CCleaner application in highly optimized C++.
Faster analyzing and cleaning
Each scanning process was rewritten from scratch and fully optimized. The result being a noticeable speed increase in all areas.
Portable
CCleaner can now run from a USB thumbdrive and be installed/run on a computer without a complicated setup process.
Compact
The rewrite removed all external file dependencies, so the main EXE is now half the size of the original program and support files.
Redesigned User Interface
The original CCleaner user interface was looking a little dated, so the GUI was redesigned with a modern look, but without sacrificing speed or usability. New icons were created for the interface and the main program icon was updated with a more modern style.
Exclusions
It is now possible to specify files, folders and registry keys to ignore from the cleaning process.
